Leadership & Giving
The Institute of Paper Science and Technology has a new home
within the Georgia Institute of Technology. This new affiliation
gives IPST access to the faculty and resources of one of the
nation's top research universities.
Georgia Tech consistently ranks among U.S. News & World
Report's top ten public universities in the United States.
In a world that increasingly turns to technology for solutions,
Georgia Tech is using innovative teaching and advanced research
to define the technological university of the 21st century.
IPST has a long and proud tradition of scientific and technical
leadership in the pulp, paper, and related industries. The
integration into Georgia Tech has opened up a wide range of
exciting possibilities for collaboration in research and education.
Within this new context the significance of private support
and federal research funding looms larger than ever before.
Our capacity not just to fulfill our core mission, but to maintain
a high level of excellence overall will be a function of our
ability to generate additional private support.
Now more than ever, the Institute of Paper Science and Technology
will need the support of our member companies, loyal alumni,
and friends to realize our vision as the world's leading research
and educational enterprise supporting the global forest products
and related industries. IPST is in a unique position to help
educate the future leaders of the industry and to provide new
knowledge and create solutions to the technical issues facing
the industry.
Guide to giving:
This is an exciting time in the history of the Institute of
Paper Science and Technology (IPST) and the paper industry.
Each day offers a new opportunity to honor a loved one, a distinguished
colleague, or a corporate partner and to support the outstanding
programs at IPST. IPST has a wide range of naming opportunities
that are not only fitting tributes, but lasting legacies. Naming
opportunities exist for gifts greater than $25,000.
Whether you are thinking about a gift that is big or small,
giving today or deferring your gift to tomorrow, there's a
giving opportunity that is right for you.
