IPST Celebrates Chinese "Year of the Rabbit"
at Institute Luncheon

The Institute of Paper Science and Technology at Georgia Tech held a celebration of Spring Festival, the Chinese New Year, on February 3rd. It was to promote the exchange of culture between China and the US. IPST Director Norman Marsolan and more than 130 IPST employees attended the celebration and enjoyed delicious Chinese food while watching the wonderful performances presented by Chinese students and scholars. The party was co-organized by Professors Yulin Deng and Zhonglin Wang and their students.  During the meeting, Chinese professors and students sang traditional Chinese songs, played Chinese instruments and performed Chinese opera. The celebration was a great success and was well received by the IPST community.  This was the second IPST-Chinese celebration event and the Chinese community at IPST plans to continue the tradition next year.
