Experience with The Australian Botanic garden in Mt Annan gave Kylie a passion for plant science research and conservation. She joined the Forest biology group in 2006 and is currently the lead research technician under Professor Jerry Pullman. Her current research interests are conifer somatic embryogenesis, and developing successful plant tissue culture systems for rare and endangered plant species.
