PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

An undergraduate Pulp and Paper Engineering Certificate is available from the College of Engineering.  Students seeking the certificate must take all five of the following electives, available to Georgia Tech engineering students:

 

1. Pulping and Chemical Recovery
2. Bleaching and Paper Making
3. Pulping and Bleaching Lab
4. Papermaking and Pulp Lab
5. Special Project Lab

 

Students taking fewer than five of the above courses may use these courses to fulfill elective course requirements for the B.S. degree, though they will not be awarded the Certificate.  All must be completed to achieve the Certificate.
