Welcome Teachers!
This unit examines watermarks. It was created with 7th grade students in mind, but the content and
activities could easily be adapted to almost any grade level. All four lesson plans contain links to
the coordinating visitor pages and "Taking a Closer Look" pages that contain discussion
questions. These pages may be viewed by the students individually, in groups, or as a class. Each
lesson plan also contains a link to extra activities that may also be used to reinforce the lesson.
Lessons may be done in any order, but it is suggested that you use the "Watermarks"
lesson plan first to provide the student with background information. Please use as many or any
combination of the pages you wish to suit your students best.
