The Robert C. Williams Paper Museum at Georgia Tech

Teachers and school administrators are invited to visit the Robert C. Williams Paper Museum at Georgia Tech for a Teacher’s Open House event. Tour the museum, make paper, and preview the museum’s newest exhibition and the new Paper in Our World gallery. Paper in Our World focuses on global warming and the important role that recycling, sustainability practices, and current research play in solving our environmental problems. Network with other educators and learn about school tours and workshops that offer teachers PLU opportunities. Bring a guest with you and explore the fascinating world of paper!

Research
We are pleased to offer a new service to the public through our extensive archives. We can provide
professional research services for most aspects of paper history and technology. We have many amazing
things in our archives such as the patent for paper made of wood and ancient papermaking artifacts.
Now the public can have access to this information for research.
The first hour of research is free for Museum members. After that it is $15 per additional hour.
The non-member rate is $30 per hour. Advanced reservations are required.
For more information, contact Cindy Bowden at 404-894-7840 or
send an email.
